WELCOME
Hello and Welcome to Isler's Siberians. We have been raising only Siberian Huskies for 27 years now. We live in central Ohio in the country surrounded by farmland where our huskies have plenty of room for exercise and socialization.
It seems like just yesterday that Mark was deciding which breed would make the best family pet. He loved the energy, beauty and personality of the Siberian Husky. Brooke was the beginning of this wonderful adventure we have been on. There have been many fun, sweet and quirky personalities come along over the years. Gus was the longest resident at 16 years and the foundation for our current bloodlines. We have many female offspring still giving us beautiful babies to this day. Make sure you check out both our current and retired sires and dams as well as past puppies. You will see what we mean.
Over the years we have done our best to follow AKC guidelines and breed for confirmation of the Siberian Husky. We generally do not have woolies or dark faced puppies. We love the traditional look and have worked very hard to get the appearance we have today with our beautiful dogs. We take great pride in our dedication, attention to detail and amount of socialization our dogs and puppies receive. The friendliness and excellent demeanor of our adults along with our hard work in socializing the puppies produce some of the finest temperaments which in turn make the perfect family pet. Be sure to read through the reviews families have taken the time to write about us and our puppies. You can find those under the "MORE" tab.
All of our adults are AKC registered Purebred Siberian Huskies. We have been inspected by, are in good standing with and are regulated by both the AKC and the Ohio Department of Agriculture. The ODA does require us to charge sales tax in addition to the price of the puppy.
Each puppy will be examined by our veterinarian, kept up to date on immunizations until they leave us, will be microchipped and are started on a biweekly deworming schedule at 2 weeks of age and continue until they find their forever home. Again, socialization is a very important part of our breeding program. The puppies are introduced to as many things as possible before they go to their forever homes. They are well socialized with people of all ages as well as other dogs. We spend countless hours working with them to make them the best they can be for their new family.
We love what we do, and we love the breed. We do our best to stay in touch with families as both they and their puppy grow. We very much enjoy seeing pictures as the puppy develops and hearing how the puppy is doing. We have made long lasting friendships and have a very large extended husky family from 27 years of dedication to the breed. Our goal is to raise the perfect family pet that is healthy, happy and brings joy to your life. We are here for a LIFETIME of support with your puppy!

The Siberian Husky is not the breed for everyone so please do your research on the breed before you decide they are the best fit for you.
Siberians are active, athletic dogs who will need a lot of exercise. Regular exercise is important both physically and mentally. Doing activities with your puppy/dog will help to strengthen the bond between you and your new family member. A bored husky is not a good husky. They were bred to run and will do so every chance they get. It is important to keep the dog on a leash/harness or in a fenced in yard at all times. And do not leave them unattended. The Siberian is a very adaptable breed and for families that live in a more urban setting daily walks or doggie day care/play dates can be very beneficial for your dog. They are a very pack-oriented breed, so they enjoy family life and get along well with other dogs usually. Another fact about Siberians is the fact that they can be great escape artists! They will scale a fence or dig holes and go under a fence. Again, they should not be left unattended when outside. They are also prey driven and will take off running after a bird or small animal in a moments notice. They do shed a fair amount and regular brushing is recommended however they do not typically have an odor about them and do not require frequent bathing.
Owning a Siberian Husky is a privilege and a pleasure. It can be very rewarding and like most anything in life the more time and dedication you put into your newest family member the more you will get out of the experience. Most husky owners will agree that once you have a husky you will not own any other breed.
